Very good substitution for real ivory. Carves very well and turns well. Polishes easily with wet sanding and a plastic polish. I would recommend this substitution for your ivory needs

Not Impressed
This material is far to brittle and chips far to easy. I was unable to cut rings 1/8th inch thick as they would just snap. I couldn't bore into the rods being, no matter how sharp the tool was it chipped. Butt caps and joints for my cues didn't hold up and I had to replace them at my cost. Waste of money

The right price
Cuts and Turns well for my use as a fancy sword handle. Have yet to try carving it but that I think is next. At $20 for 11” how can you go wrong?
