Recon Stone (Imitation Semi-Precious Stone)
This beautiful material is the most realistic imitation stone on the market today. It is available in full size blocks & cut slabs . Recon Stone is produced from approximately 85% natural stone ore. The ore is pigmented, compressed into blocks and impregnated with approximately 15% acrylic gem resin. We offer Recon Stone slabs cut in 4 different thicknesses, 1/8", 3/16", 1/4" and 3/8". We do not cut slabs below 1/8" as the cutting blade itself is 1/8" and therefore more material would be wasted cutting it, then actually cutting off.
Pricing will be based on weight at $4.50 -$5.50 per ounce depending on color. As this material is sold by weight after it is cut, the total in your cart will not match the actual invoiced amount.
All blocks vary in density, width, and length. The average block size is 2-3" wide x 11" long.
On average an 1/8" thick cut slab will cost approximately $20-25,
3/16" will be approximately $30-45
1/4" will be approximately $45-55
3/8" will be approximately $60-85
The actual cost will be calculated after the slab has been cut from the master block and weighed so please know that the amount that appears in your cart will not match your the in cart price and could be higher or lower on your actual invoice as we will not know the exact cost until material has been cut and weighed for your specific order. The "cart price" is just an "approximate average price" for over 160 colors we offer and each color block is a different size and density so everything about this material is an "approximated average" and you are purchasing this material based on the actual cut off weight per ounce.
